"The most on-ice instruction. The best results. Using the CARTER Method, skaters build on each days’ skills and are challenged to reach their full potential as the hockey camp progresses. We don’t teach systems or plays at our hockey schools – we leave that to your team coaches."
“I grew up playing for Hanover Youth Hockey, Cardigan Mountain School, and Deerfield Academy. I returned home to play for Dartmouth College before making it to the NHL with the Pittsburgh Penguins, Anaheim Ducks, Penguins (again!), New Jersey Devils, and Dallas Stars. My goal for this camp is to teach young boys and girls from my neighborhood the hockey skills they will need to know how to play at the next level.”

On-ice time will consist of small area games, situational 5-5's and fast speed and up tempo drills. Camp provides a high level of competition with lots of puck touches and work with special teams. Each session wraps up with a scrimmage.

“Fostering structured, tangible progress for
figure skaters at every level.”
Woodstock JR. Wasps Youth Hockey
Players and goalies can join for three consecutive Thursdays beginning on July 11th for an hour of skills followed by an hour+ of open play.
The idea is simple, get kids from Upper Valley together to work with great coaches (varsity coaches, college coaches, and college/junior players) on a few key elements of the game, and then let them play.
Players will be divided between two age groups (2014-16) and (2010-2013) for the small area games and skills portion of the skates. The open play will then have alternating shifts between the older group and the younger group in both 3v3 cross ice (week 1) and 5v5 full ice (weeks 2 & 3).
Having all of the kids together is a great way to showcase our community, so bring a friend regardless of where they play, registration will be open to all!
The cost is $150 for skaters and $50 for goalies.
5:00PM - 7:20PM -- It will be a great way to cool off while not interfering with daytime camps or weekend plans!
